Anyway they have become much more tame. They don't struggle when picked up anymore, because they know that they get food as soon as they are put down or while they are being held. Unfortunately Wren got an LRI (lower respiratory infection). She is getting better now but we had to take them both to the vet and the check up cost 60 dollars each. The medicine only cost about four dollars! We have to go back soon to make sure they have gotten over it (30 bucks each).
Not such a fun start but how I love them! They are really fun pets and have an obsession with food, hopefully soon they will also have an obsession with me, I know I have one with them.
I really shouldn't be writing this now because I am at school. I am in study hall, not in class, but I could be getting ahead on homework so I can spend more time with my pets after cross country.
I had to miss my time with Tinker yesterday because we got back from Bibi and Baba's house at 7 pm and I think that letting the rats out is more important then spending time with Tinky.
That isn't because I love them more than her but my rats are stuck in a small cage all day and Tinker is in a HUGE one.
I might not be able to let them out for long today because yesterday Phoebe learned that she can jump the gate I have up in the doorway. Luckily I was there when she found this out! I often leave them out by themselves for hours and it is just chance that she found this out with me there.
I think the best bit is from 20 to 30 seconds.
One study hall over and one more to go!
