I will remember...
- hanging by one hand from the swing set post at the playground. I had to climb up quite high to get to the top where I was hanging around.
- tons and tons and tons of cartwheels and bridges with Alexa
- exploring a path near Jasmine's campsite with my cousins. There was a huge fallen tree in the way but we could get by it and then we went up to the top of the hill and our mother's called us back.
- trying to do a flip into the water off the raft in the quarry. I slipped on the wood and did not make it. I will try again and I will try to make it. I came up very scared. So scared that I could not hear of a few seconds.
- all the kids could fit on one big see-saw and we tried to make it balanced out.
- swimming in a freezing cold waterfall that is supposed to have a ghost. And my cousin Lindsey saw that ghost in the waterfall! That must have been scary. That waterfall is called Bash Bish Falls.
- roasting everything on a metal stick over a fire. My cousins and brother and sister tried red peppers, granola bars, m&m's, strawberries, scallions and nuts. All I did was red pepper and marshmallows.
- my uncles were crazy for coffee and they refused to use a coffee maker. So they got a pot and made a fire and made a paper filter out of paper plates. It was very funny and fun.
- doodling in my doodle book by the light of a candle on the picnic table under the tarp at night with Nina and Sophia.

This is what Claire will remember:
- taking dragonfly exuvia off of the bridge railing.
- saving tenneral damselflies from spiderwebs.
- catching green frogs with Sophia s in the shallow part of the quarry.
- doodling in my doodle book on a towel while being bitten by mosquitos with Sophia and Nina
- all of us playing Rather Or Not. This game has one person asking a question. Three people answer the question. The rest of the people were in the audience. The questions were like this "would you rather fall off a roller coaster or walk in a crowd naked"
- Ben found a painted turtle falling down a hill. We picked it up and passed it around until it ended up getting dropped (not by one of us). But it was OK in the end.
- having hundreds of bucketfuls of rain fall on our heads while we descended a mountain. As we were walking in the pouring rain we were passed by a bunch of teenagers who were heading to the primitive campsite.
- the craziest restaurant that I have ever been in called The Gypsy Joint. It was very hippy and everyone was wearing beads.
- running around D-Loop with my bare feet and Theo.
- playing War in a tent with Rachel and Sophia.
- wading through poison ivy to find the path.
- finding a rare and treasured Mohican Ass Stone that we accidentally left behind.
- that roasted strawberries are really good.

This is what our Mama will remember:
- VERY chilly and deep water. 40 feet deep!
- packing up the car to leave in intense pouring rain while being whole heartedly appreciative that I was not out at that primitive campsite with those poor soaked teenagers who passed on the trail the day before.
- listening to the rumpus of wild yipping coyotes off in the hills as I lay snug in my tent.
- reading many chapters of The Neverending Story aloud inside the tent as the rain gently pattered on our roof.
- the pull-apart cinnamon bread that was made by hand, 60 loafs at a time, everyday, by the woman who runs the small store outside the campground. Wow.
- that though it was forecast to be a wet weekend the weather was pretty considerate as to when it threw the rain down to us. Sleeping in a gentle rain while in a dry tent is one of life's special treats.
