I love horses by Claire

For my 9th birthday both sets of my grandparents got me horsey lessons.

This is the best sitting trot posture that we got a picture of. My heels are down, my shoulders are back. But my hands are still resting on the saddle.
This is the beginning lesson with my instructor Abby. I have the completely wrong posture here. My heels are not down, my shoulders are not back and my hands are resting on the saddle. The pony's name is Shiloh.
I had a very slow trail ride on a horse named Champ (I don't think he should be named Champ because he isn't a champion at speed). But it was a beautiful fall day out.
This is how far apart we started and at the end of the trail we were more than four times the space apart. I learned something about Champ on this trail ride: he does not like wetting his feet he goes into woods to get around puddles.

The other horsey lessons were on Shiloh and one of them was on A.J. The one on A.J. was done by the owner of the farm because one of the instructors fell off a horse and we had to wait a long time. And that was one of the hardest horsey lessons I have ever done because she made me post the whole time. Posting gets hard after a while because when you are learning. You do not know how to do it and you push yourself up when you are supposed to let the horse's bounce push you up. So I got sore thighs after.

I am not aware of the name of this horse ? pony ?
